DON'T TAKE
OUR WORD.

Danny showed up when he said he would, quoted exactly what he said he would, and the crew was done in one day. My neighbor had to wait three weeks for her contractor to even start.

Sarah M.

After the hail storm last spring I called three companies. Ridge Line was the only one who actually met with my adjuster. Ended up paying just my deductible on a $14,000 roof.

James T.
Smyrna, TN

I've used a lot of contractors over the years. What I remember about Ridge Line is that they cleaned up after themselves and I never had to chase them down for an update. That's it. That's the whole review.

STORM HIT?
WE KNOW
THE PROCESS.

Most homeowners leave money on the table after a storm because nobody tells them how the claim actually works. We do this every week. Here's how we get your roof covered — usually for the price of your deductible.

01
Free Inspection

We get on your roof, document the damage, and tell you straight whether you've actually got a claim — at no cost to you.

02
We Work Your Claim

We photograph everything, file it right, and meet your adjuster on the roof so nothing legitimate gets denied or lowballed.

03
New Roof. Done Right.

Our own crew does the work — no subs, no surprises. You pay your deductible and get the roof your claim paid for.

What It Costs

WHAT A ROOF
ACTUALLY RUNS.

Here's what nobody says out loud: if a storm did the damage, you usually pay your deductible and insurance covers the rest. If your roof is simply old, you're paying out of pocket — and these are real Murfreesboro numbers, not a teaser.

Storm claim — your shareJust your deductible
Roof repair (leak, flashing, a few squares)$400 – $2,500
Full replacement — asphalt shingle$8,000 – $18,000
Full replacement — metal$18,000 – $40,000+
Gutters & guards$1,200 – $3,500

On a storm claim, most of our clients pay nothing but their deductible — often $500 to $2,500. We'll tell you on the first visit which bucket you're in, and we won't talk you into a replacement insurance won't cover.

What Moves the Number
Roof size
Roofing is measured in “squares” — 100 sq ft each. More squares, more material and labor.
Pitch & height
A steep, tall roof is slower and more dangerous to work, so it costs more than a low ranch.
Tear-off layers
Stripping two or three old layers takes longer and hauls off more than a single-layer tear-off.
What's under the shingles
Rotten decking found during tear-off has to be replaced. We show you before we charge for it.

We don't do the cheap-now, leak-later patch just to win a job. If a repair won't actually hold, we'll tell you — and if a repair will save you a replacement, we'll tell you that too.

HOW MUCH LIFE
IS LEFT IN
YOUR ROOF?

Pick your material and the year it went on. This won't replace a real inspection, but it'll tell you roughly where you stand — and whether it's time to start planning.

Don't Get Burned

ROOFING HAS
EARNED ITS
BAD NAME.

You already know roofing has a reputation. After a storm, the out-of-town trucks roll in, knock on doors, take the insurance money, and are three states away by the time your roof leaks again. Here's how people get burned — and what we do instead.

01
The storm chaser
Knocks the week after a hailstorm, pressures you to sign, works fast, and is gone before the problems show. We've been in Murfreesboro since 2013. You can drive to our shop.
02
The subcontractor shuffle
Big outfits sell you a roof and hand it to whatever crew is cheapest that week. Every Ridge Line roof is done by Danny's own crew — the same guys, every job.
03
“We found more damage”
A low bid to win the job, then surprise charges once your roof's torn off and you've got no choice. Our written quote is the price. If we genuinely hit something hidden, we show you before we touch it.
04
The cheap patch
A bargain repair that buys six months, then leaks again right where they “fixed” it. If a repair won't hold, we say so instead of taking your money twice.
05
The insurance runaround
Companies that cash your claim check and cut corners on the actual roof. We document the damage, meet your adjuster, and put on the roof your claim paid for.

LOCAL CREW
OR STORM
CHASER?

After a big storm you'll have cards on your door and trucks in your cul-de-sac. Some are fine. A lot aren't. Here's how to tell who'll still be around when your roof needs them.

Buyer Beware
Out-of-town storm chaser
Shows up after a storm, gone after the season. Sharp prices, no local address, and good luck reaching anyone when a shingle lifts next year.
Hit Or Miss
Big-name sub outfit
National branding, a local salesperson, and a roof installed by whatever crew was free. Fine, sometimes — but nobody you actually met is on your roof.
Us
Ridge Line
Eleven years in Murfreesboro, one crew, Danny on every job. We're who your neighbor already called — and who you can still find in five years.

And if you don't need a whole new roof, we'll say so. A repair that buys you five more years is sometimes the right call — we make more on replacements, and we'll still tell you.

What We Do

EVERY JOB.
OUR HANDS.

We don't hand your roof off to whoever's available. Danny and his crew handle every job, start to finish.

01
Full Roof Replacement
Complete tear-off and reinstall. Shingles, underlayment, decking, flashing — the whole system done right.
02
Repairs & Patches
Leaks, missing shingles, wind damage. If it's worth fixing, we fix it properly so you don't call us back in six months.
03
Storm Damage & Insurance
We handle the inspection, the documentation, and the adjuster meeting. Most clients pay only their deductible.
04
Gutters & Drainage
New gutters, guards, and downspout routing. A roof is only as good as what happens to the water it sheds.
05
Inspections & Assessments
Buying or selling a home? We'll give you an honest read on what you're working with — no upsell.

Straight Answers

WHAT PEOPLE
ASK US.

Will my insurance cover a new roof?
If the damage is from a storm — hail or wind — usually yes, minus your deductible. We inspect it free, tell you honestly whether you've got a claim, and meet your adjuster if you do. If it's just age, insurance won't cover it, and we'll be straight about that too.
What's this going to cost me out of pocket?
On a storm claim, most clients pay just their deductible. On an age replacement, a typical asphalt roof runs $8,000–$18,000 depending on size and pitch. Either way, you get a written number before anything starts.
How long does a roof take?
Most homes are a one-day tear-off and replacement. Bigger or steeper roofs take two. We don't leave your house open to the weather overnight.
What if you find rotten decking after tear-off?
It happens, and it's the one thing a quote can't always see from the ground. We show you the damage, photograph it, and get your okay on the cost before we replace a single board. No surprise line items.
How long should my roof last?
Architectural shingles run about 25 years, 3-tab about 20, metal 50-plus. Tennessee storms can cut any of those short. The health check above gives you a rough read.
Do I need a full replacement, or just a repair?
Depends on the age, how widespread the damage is, and whether it's spreading. If a repair will genuinely hold, we'll recommend it. We're not going to sell you a roof you don't need yet.
Are you actually local?
Based in Murfreesboro since 2013 — not a storm-season pop-up. You can find us, and your neighbors already have.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes — a workmanship warranty on every job, plus the manufacturer's warranty on the materials. And since it's our own crew, there's no finger-pointing if anything ever needs a look.
About Danny

STARTED AT 14.
HASN'T
STOPPED.

Danny Kowalski picked up his first roofing hammer helping his uncle reroof houses in Nashville. He was 14. By 27 he had his license, his own crew, and his name on the truck.

Eleven years later Ridge Line has replaced over 500 roofs across Middle Tennessee — and Danny is still on every job, because that's the only way he knows it's done right.
